Canon EOS 70D is the latest cameras in the line of Canon XXD digital cameras to mark the years 2011 and 2012.
Canon EOS 70D is being built on the predecesor Canon EOS 60D which was launched in the summer of 2010. The normal refresh cycle of the Canon EOS XXD series is anywhere between 12 to 24 months.
Considering the latest shut down of factories in Japan, it might be that the Canon 70D will be delayed until the year 2012.
Canon EOS 70D is expected in the consumer market sometimes between Summer 2011 and Summer 2012.
Some of the expected features of the Canon EOS 70D include a 25MPixel image resolution in comparison with the 18MP of the 60D.
